Beneficiaries
People Paddle is designed to allow not-for-profit organizations recruit paddlers who will "champion" their cause. The paddling "champions" register to paddle and to select a not-for-profit for which to raise pledges online. Catalyst for Youth, our host organization, retains 15% to cover event expenses and additional liability insurance, then sends 85% of pledges to the championed not-for-profits after the event.

This list is subject to change at any time solely at the discretion of the event management. Environmental agencies currently listed as eligible to receive funds from People Paddle for the Planet include:

    Hi Everybody

Just a reminder that you MUST sign up online and pay the $25 registration fee thru the website if you will be paddling in People Paddle. But trust me, this is the deal of a lifetime! Only $25 to register to paddle gets you a free 2 day Superpass (which is a $25 value anyway). Plus you get a tshirt and lunch and build a TON of good karma points.

    Please register here asap:

See you June 15 in Foster City
