Blackwater Blackout River Float
In 2007, 125 water-craft took part in the most fun float of the entire weekend. Rigged with all sorts of light fixtures, flash lights and glow sticks, canoes and kayaks navigated down the Blackwater River (no electrical systems allowed). Come join us for year 3 of this great event. Participants not only have a great time but are community supporters as all proceeds from this float event go to the Antioch Community Park project. $10 per person

Saturday, June 7
The 7th Annual Pigg River Ramble

7 AM - 9:30 AM - Registration
10:15 AM - Mandatory Safety Briefing
10:30 AM - Ramble begins
4:00 PM - The Great Duck Race (Lynch Park)
6 PM - Barbeque/Post Race Festivities at Farmer's Market

The 7th Annual Pigg River Ramble will be the best ever! Welcome all returning racers/floaters and newcomers. We're expecting more boats and more friends! Start the race at Waid Park, end at Lynch Park, then come to Downtown for great barbeque, prizes, and post race program. Welcome to our community and share in our great hospitality. And don't forget the LEDGE! $20 per person (includes barbeque)

Sunday, June 8
Breakfast on the Blackwater River Float
(Sponsored by Carilion Franklin Memorial Hospital)
7 AM - Check-In (No Sunday Registration)
7:30 AM - Float Begins (Breakfast approximately 45 minutes into float.)
2 PM - Final Shuttle Run
Finishing the weekend with a great riverside breakfast and a leisurely float down the Blackwater River completes the package. Those who have braved the 3 events and completed each will be rewarded. $15 per person (includes breakfast)
