This trip is on the Rio Grande from TorC to Caballo Lake. This is about a 13 mile trip. It should all be flat, moving water (no guarantees how fast it will be moving!).

Please bring plenty of water, lunch and snacks, appropriate clothing including dry clothes, paddling equipment (boat, PFD, paddle, etc). Also, rain gear just in case.

Keep in mind that we will have to shuttle cars and boats and that will take a little bit of time. This particular shuttle will be easy so it shouldn't take too long. The put-in and take-out both are nice 'beachy' areas. So no climbing up or down hills with your kayak.

This should be a great trip and a wonderful opportunity to get to know fellow desert kayakers!
