We will not be paddling the Rio Grande River after all. A fellow paddler did this run last week and said the first two miles were pretty shallow and they had to drag their boats several times. Just checked it out yesterday. The water is freezing so this is probably not a good run right now. We will paddle instead Elephant Butte lake. Read more
