The Connecticut Appalachian Mountain Club Whitewater committee organizes whitewater paddling instruction and trips on whitewater rivers throughout New England. All events are open to the public. Though some events are restricted by proper skills or equipment. The committee is dedicated to the safe and fun enjoyment of our rivers!

Paddle Leaders are needed to schedule trips. If you would like to lead trips, contact the organizer. Meet other local paddlers to talk about kayaking, local rivers and creeks, and to plan flatwater trips. Kayaking beginners are welcome! Informal instruction provided, just ask. Generally, you need a kayak. Those who own several kayaks and want to help others with a loaner are encouraged (tip them!). Total number on trips runs 12-24 usually.
