Aloha! The Philadelphia Outrigger Canoe Club has been paddling in local and regional waterways since 1995. Our canoes are among the first outriggers ever on the East Coast. The Orvis Company, based in Manchester, VT is the premier fly-fishing gear manufacturer and retailer. The Orvis store in Plymouth Meeting, PA offers free fly-fishing 101 classes in the store and fly-fishing 201 classes held "on the water" in the spring and summer. Free fly tying classes are held each winter as well as free seminars on all aspects of fly fishing year-round. All equipment is provided for all or most of the free classes.
